How to Make Tiramisu

This Italian dessert is sweet, chocolate-y and best of all, simple to make! This is our favorite go-to dessert recipe for gatherings and potlucks. As tedious as it may seem to make for some, we promise you that it's quite easy once you have all of your ingredients together. Your guests will surely appreciate this decadent treat and come back for a second serving!

Ingredients needed:
- 24 lady fingers
- 1 1/2 cup of Espresso coffee
- 6 tbsp. of Amaretto
- 6 egg yolks
- 6 tbsp. of sugar
- Mascarpone cheese (1 lb. or 450g)
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 2 tbsp. of powdered sugar
- 3-4 tbsp. of bittersweet cocoa powder.

1. Mix the cold Espresso coffee and 3 tbsp. of Amaretto (we'll use the other half for later) in a bowl. Quickly dip the lady fingers in the mix.

2. In a double boiler, mix the 6 egg yolks and sugar until the color lightens and comes to a grainy consistency for 2 minutes. Take it off the heat and pour 3 tbsp. of Amaretto.

3. In the same bowl, put the Mascarpone in the mixture and whisk. In another bowl, mix the heavy cream and sugar to make the whipped cream with a hand mixer. Then, mix both mixtures together.
